The Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety is scheduled to meet at 11 a.m. Thursday in council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

Board meetings are open to the public and press.

Agenda items include a bid opening of request for proposals for the design of a new fire station, project updates by city engineer Bernie Hauersperger and a request for road closures from noon to 9 p.m. June 26 for the Cars and Guitars car show and concert fundraiser by event founder and organizer Gary Colglazier.
