Indianapolis-based photographer Rad Drew is leading a “Mobile Magic! Create Engaging Photos with Your Mobile Phone” webinar created especially for Southern Indiana Center for the Arts.

The virtual workshop will be conducted live via Zoom from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The cost to attend is $20.

Whether you take photos with an iPhone or Android phone, Drew will share tips and tricks, apps and processes he has learned in more than 10 years of making photos with his phone that will help you get the most from your iPhone or Android phone. You’ll be able to create more engaging photos.

Participants will learn the following:

What not to do when making your photo

How to make sure your images are sharp, clear and properly exposed

How to use free or inexpensive apps for editing

How to remove unwanted elements from your photos, like telephone wires and more

How to create vintage looks for your photos

A simple process for editing your images to bring them to life

Apps covered in the workshop will include Snapseed and Touch Retouch for Apple/iOS and Android.

A teacher, photographer and tour leader, Drew creates with iPhone, mirrorless and infrared cameras. He is a frequent contributor to PSA Journal and was listed in PSA’s Who’s Who in Photography 2018.

His creative images have been recognized internationally and exhibited in galleries around the world, including SOHO Gallery and SOHO Arthaus in New York City, the L.A. Mobile Arts Festival and Obscura Gallery in Melbourne, Australia.
