The Jackson County Public Library recently announced the addition of Launchpad Reading Academy tablets to the collection.

Launchpad Reading Academy is a five-level guided reading system that helps kids learn to read with apps, storybooks, and videos. By bringing together a combination of sight, sound and interactive play, these tablets give kids the tools to learn the way they learn best.

No downloads are needed, and no Wi-Fi is required. Customers may check out two tablets per library card with a loan period of seven days. Launchpads also may be placed on hold for checkout at the Crothersville and Medora libraries.
