A dump trailer owned by the Seymour Department of Public Works was stolen from Gaiser Park over the weekend.

The Seymour Police Department is investigating the theft of a dump trailer from Gaiser Park over the weekend.

The trailer was reported stolen at 7:18 a.m. Monday and owned by Seymour Department of Public Works.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and two subjects who stole a 14-foot-high side utility trailer. The subjects hitched the trailer onto their vehicle, a white Chevrolet Tahoe, and drove off with it from the park in daylight over the weekend, police said.
