The Jackson County Plan Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

First on the agenda are two alleys looking to be vacated in Vallonia. Tony Kidd is petitioning for the alleys to be vacated due to the alleys being unimproved and not being maintained over time.

Closing out the agenda is Christian L. McMurray, who is requesting a special exception to construct a 50-by-70-foot wedding/event barn venue in a forest and recreation zoning district.

McMurray is looking to open the 3,500-square-foot wedding barn in Seymour and must get a special exception to operate the venue since it would be located in an area designated only for forest and recreation.
