The Jackson County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

The board will hear from Gil Hoene with the Jackson County Dog Shelter committee, Matt Elder with Jacob-Dietz Inc. regarding fire protection, Tom Goecker applying for two variances for the Greendale subdivision, Building Commissioner Conner Barnette with a payment agreement contract for the planning and zoning department and Custodian Jana Wessel with maintenance items.

Commissioners also will appoint the new director for Jackson County Emergency Medical Services and discuss office space for the county coroner and the 2021 holiday schedule.

The meeting is open to the public and press.
