Mrs. Tina Mae Roark, 76, of Seymour, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Schneck Medical Center while holding her Bible and with her husband and daughter by her side. She was born in Virgie, Kentucky to the late Harve Slone and Della (Johnson) Slone. On May 1, 1976, in Wise, Virginia, she married her beloved husband Darius H. Roark.

Tina was a member of Living Word Baptist Church. She was a woman of great faith and relied on her faith during her 21-year battle with leukemia. She was a bookkeeper for Roark Transportation.

Tina is survived by her husband of 44 years, Darius; children, Gregre (Trina) Roark; Rafe (JoAnna Carmer Garrett) Roark; Marcella (Bryan) Henderson and John Roark; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Bill Slone, Ernie Slone, and Landis Slone; and sisters, Nellie Akers and Rose Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Chester Slone, Gardner Slone, Foster Slone; and sister, Lucy Branham.

Funeral services for Tina will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, October 1 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Face masks are respectfully required at all services.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 30 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, October 1 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
