Even though Fort Vallonia Days has been canceled, the Driftwood Township Volunteer Fire Department’s annual fish fry is still on.
Firefighters will be frying fish from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 17 at the station on Main Street in Vallonia. It will be carryout only.
The department also will be raffling off a FosTecH 300blk lightweight rifle at 7 p.m. on the department’s Facebook page. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased now through Oct. 17 from any firefighter, via messaging the department’s Facebook page or at the fish fry. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold.
