Michael Irvin Allman, 71, of Vallonia, died at 10:13 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born on November 8, 1948 to the late Irvin & Kathleen Ratcliff Allman and was raised by his grandparents, Frank & Bessie Ratcliff. He was an Army Veteran. Michael worked for Rust Construction as an excavator and drove trucks for St. John’s Trucking, JayC, & Boknecht’s. He also worked for Wal-Mart Distribution. He enjoyed horseback riding, 4-wheeler’s, and riding his Harley Davidson with the side car.

Survivors include his companion of 24 years, Lisa Newkirk of Vallonia and their son, Roper Allman. Roper was Micahel’s life and where you saw one, you saw the other. He is also survived by a brother, Steve Allman and a sister, Connie Timbers.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Jean Pogue officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery and full military graveside rites will be conducted. Memorial contributions may be given to the Easyville Pentecostal Church or to the Brownstown Central Christian Athletes (Shed for You).
