Due to the threat of inclement weather, Seymour Community School Corp.’s Rock n’ Ready school supply distribution scheduled for today has been canceled for the safety of volunteers and participants.

Backpacks prefilled with school supplies will still be distributed at Brownstown Central Middle School today. Registered families received postcards prior to the event with the time they may pick up supplies.

Backpacks will now be distributed at Seymour schools to those students who registered for the event on the first day of classes Aug. 10.

Medora students also will receive their supplies on the first day of school Aug. 10, and those registered in Crothersville will be contacted to set up an appointment to pick up their backpacks at the Crothersville Library.
