District 69 state representative candidate Katrina Hardwick will host a campaign fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Crossroads Community Park in downtown Seymour.

Participants can pull in, park and enjoy free frozen yogurt while discussing issues and concerns with Hardwick.

Campaign contributions will be accepted.

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, Hardwick said she and her campaign staff all will be wearing masks. She encourages everyone else to wear masks, too.

Hardwick, a Seymour native, is running as an independent and will face incumbent Republican Jim Lucas and Democrat Jeffery W. Prewitt, both of whom also are from Seymour.
