Sally P. Rhody, age 82, of Brownstown, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Covered Bridge Health Campus, Seymour.

Sally was a member of Brownstown Baptist Church, and retired as a CNA providing home health care. Sally was always a caring, compassionate and giving lady.

Born on April 25, 1938, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Frank and Martha (McCrary) Martin, both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons: Brian (Joy) Combs and Brad (Ronda) Combs; one step-daughter, Cheryl Jones; one brother, Frank Martin; one sister, Sue Isaak; four grandchildren: Brittany Combs, Tyler Bishop, Ryan Combs and Chrissy Combs; and two great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Sally was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tricia Bishop.

Funeral services for Sally P. Rhody will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. will be practicing social distancing according to CDC guidelines. Masks are required when entering the funeral home.
