Jo Ann Seal, 89, of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana. She was born on October 21, 1930 in Little York, Indiana, the daughter of the late Orris Cathcart and Emma (Trueblood) Cathcart. Jo Ann spent her adolescent life in Little York and attended school there. She was married on Sept. 14, 1947 to Milum “Mike” Seal, and they shared over 71 years together before he passed away on Feb. 20, 2019. Jo Ann was a homemaker, enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens and canning vegetables for her family. She especially loved making quilts and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and John and four sisters, Juanita, Maxine, Lucille and Margaret. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda McCammon(Jim) of Seymour, Indiana and Phyillis Hall of Tampico, Indiana; five grandchildren; Heather Quillen (Roger), Richie Hunt (Hollie), Rachel Haines (Curtis), Ryan Hunt (Kara) and Christy Hall and six great-grandchildren, Zach Quillen, Zerik Hunt, Ean and Evan Hunt, Adam and Clark Haines.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with burial in Little York Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and after 10 a.m. on Friday at Collins Funeral Home.
