Gospel concert planned at Trinity UMC


A concert featuring southern gospel disc jockey Jim Hutson is planned for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 9 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 333 S. Chestnut St., Seymour.

Hutson co-founded the Woodsmen Quartet in 2003, singing lead and baritone vocals. He has been a southern gospel DJ for radio stations since 1996 and currently can be heard on WYGS of Columbus. He has been nominated as DJ of the Year five times and won Singing News Magazine’s Golden Mic Award in 2017.

Trinity’s Sunday service also can be heard on WZZB 1390 at 11 a.m. each Sunday. The radio broadcast also will be available on Trinity’s website at dev.tumcseymour.org.
