Boys Basketball

South Decatur downs Medora

The Class 2A No. 6 South Decatur Cougars defeated Medora 100-43 on Monday. The game had previously been scheduled for last Saturday.

Braxton McCory scored 14 to lead the Hornets with Shepard Earl also scoring in double figures with 10. 

Jayvin Spurgeon scored seven, Elijah Sturgill chipped in six, Zach Cobb added three and Bryce Guffey rounded out the scoring with three. 

Girls Basketball

Hornets fall to South Decatur

Medora got 10 points from senior Kelsey Turner, but the Hornets fell 75-19 to the host South Decatur Cougars.

Turner also had a team-high four rebounds and was 3-for-11 from the field and 4-for-6 from the free-throw line for the game.

Mariah Cobb added five points and Kaitlyn Cobb rounded out the scoring with four.
