Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Joann Gibson, 48, passed away at 7:09 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Columbus Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Morris “Rick” Hubbard and Linda (Neal) Hubbard of Seymour.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, December 5 from 5-7 p.m.

Becky spent the last five years loving the man of her life, Jay Reed. She was married to Anthony Wayne Gibson for 32 years and together they had the following children, Stephanie (Joseph) Gibson, Stephen (Whitney) Gibson, April (Wade) Ellington. She was a loving mother and thought the world of her grandbabies, Destanie Bowling, Devyn Bowling, Alyssa Ellington, Timothy Wyatt Ellington. She is also survived by her siblings, James Kriete, David Kriete, Lynn Neal and Mike (Casie) Neal; sisters-in-law, Melissa (Kenny) Collins and Ramona Hazelwood as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and infant daughter, Melinda Sue Gibson.
