Medora Town Council: Rhonda Freeman Q and A

0

What do you think you can bring to the town council?

Listen to the citizens of Medora and try to get solutions.

What’s the most pressing issue facing the town at this time, and how do you plan to address it?

I’m sure there are several issues that need to be addressed. I would like to see the town add another officer to the force so we can have more patrol. We need to try and bring more revenue to the town by getting a dollar store/grocery store and possibly a family restaurant so people can patronize Medora more. Also updating the park so kids will have a place to go and adding a dog park to the existing park so people will have a place to take their dogs to play instead of letting them run the streets. And again, I would always be open to any suggestions that anyone might have.

What should the town do to position itself for growth and development?

Again, I would like to help get some things going in our small town for growth and revenue.

How would you help the council be fiscally responsible with taxpayers’ money?

Evaluate the town finances and make necessary adjustments to help keep taxes down and by applying for more grants.
