NORTH VERNON

Mr. Kevin Neal Eggersman, 66, of North Vernon, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Majestic Care of North Vernon after a long illness from Diabetes and Dementia. He was born in Seymour to the late Harold and Dorothy Eggersman.

A graveside service will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery on Wednesday, October 23 at 1 pm with Rev. Philip Bloch officiating.

He was a graduate of Seymour High School, class of 1971. He was a member of the band where he played clarinet, tuba and bass. He then furthered his education at Butler University where he played bass in the orchestra. He then lived most of his life in Indianapolis.

He collected stamps, was a history buff and an avid reader. He loved collecting books and had his own library.

Kevin is survived by his sister, Joann (Steve) Lanam as well as many cousins.

Memorials may be written to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Immanuel Lutheran School, Trinity High School or Jackson County Humane Society, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
