COLUMBUS, INDIANA

Ruth Fee Edwards, 84 of Columbus, formerly of Seymour passed away at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, IN on October 11, 2019. She was born April 15, 1935 in Leslie County, Kentucky to Hiram and Hallie Brock Fee.

Ruth was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of The Sanctuary in Columbus and will always be remembered for her love of flowers, baking, gardening and taking care of her home which she loved to decorate. She loved her dog Pretty Girl.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, Floyd “Buzz” Edwards; a grandson, Eric White; sisters, Leopha Brock and Grace Cogdil; brothers, Roscoe Fee, Buford Fee and Wilford Fee as well as her beloved dog, Pretty Girl.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Belinda (Brent) Coleman of Columbus; grandsons, Aaron (Jennifer) White of Fishers and Josh White of Columbus; brother, Curnis (Charlotte) Fee of Uniontown, IN; great-grandchildren, Emily, Kailey and Jaxon; and step-granddaughter, Kasey (Scott) Galentine of McDonough, GA and step-grandson Baron (Jessica) Coleman of Pike Road, AL. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana with Rev. Dan Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
