The Sauers Extension Homemakers Club met July 9 at the home of Ileen Nehrt.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and club creed.

Nehrt’s devotion was entitled "Our Country." Dolores Eggersman gave a health and safety lesson on medical emergencies.

The club picnic will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at the home of Joyce Hackman.

The club sponsored Cassidy Isaacs for the Jackson County Fair queen pageant.
