The northbound lanes of Interstate 65 are closed at Exit 50 near Seymour following a crash in Bartholomew County, police said.

Southbound lanes at Exit 50 are expected to be closed soon, Nick Klinger with the Jackson County Emergency Management Agency.

A wreck in Bartholomew County involving multiple semitrailers occurred near the 60.5-mile-marker, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation. Both lanes in that area have been closed.

Motor traffic is being rerouted to U.S. 31 at this time as State Road 11 is closed due to flooding.

Traffic is the area is at a standstill.
