Seymour native earns softball honors

ROCHESTER, Minn.

Fastpitch News recently released its 2019 FPN NJCAA DIII Pitching and Offensive All-American Selections.

Freshman Kalee Wall was named All-American Second Team as a pitcher by the organization.

Wall, a Seymour native, is a freshman at Northland Community & Technical College in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.

She was also recently named to the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Softball All-State Team, which recognizes the top MCAC softball athletes in Region XIII.

Wall was the ace of the NCTC pitching staff in 2019, throwing 195 innings for the Pioneers. She notched a 3.81 ERA and rang up 129 strikeouts, winning 17 games along the way. Her 129 K’s were second-best in the MCAC this year.
