
Trustees to consider superintendent contract
The Brownstown Central Community School Corp. board of trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. today at the administration office, 608 W. Commerce St., Brownstown.
Agenda items include consideration of the proposed superintendent contract and 2019-20 administrator salaries and benefits.
Trustees also will consider approval of 2019-20 lunch and breakfast prices to meet federal guidelines; textbook rental for the elementary, middle and high schools; school bus fuel and supply bids; and school improvement plans.
The board also plans to vote on a resolution to make an offer on property at 506 W. Walnut St., hear the superintendent’s report on the 2018-19 staff performance evaluations and discuss changing to an elected board.
The meeting along with a work session at 6:30 p.m. are open to the public and press.
There will be an executive session at 7 p.m. to receive information about prospective employees and discuss individuals over whom the governing body has jurisdiction. That meeting is closed to the public and press.
