Dreamcatcher Wolf Sanctuary and Rescue and Southern Ohio Wolf Sanctuary and Rescue will conduct an event from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Petsense, 1006 E. Tipton St., Seymour.

The goal of the event is to educate the public on awareness about owning a wolfdog or a northern breed and laws pertaining to the legality of all states, according to a news release from Apryl Richardson.

Adoption applications will be available for qualified families.

The awareness also is to try and correct the bad reputation and to stop misrepresentation of northern breeds and wolfdogs.
