A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Jackson County until 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.

A severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles east of Bedford, moving east at 30 mile per hour, according to the weather service.

Gusts of 60 miles per hour and quarter-sized hail are possible during the storm.

Damage to vehicles, roofs, trees, siding and more, according to the National Weather Service warning.
