An 18-year-old Seymour woman remains hospitalized after a crash reported Monday morning.

Chloe Renee Hatton was injured in a single-vehicle crash on State Road 250 near County Road 600E around 8:30 a.m.

Information about what led to the wreck has not been determined, as the crash remains under investigation, police said.

Hatton was ejected from the vehicle, according to a news release from Jackson County Sheriff’s Department Officer Chris Hubbard.

Hatton was taken by ambulance to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, where she was airlifted to another hospital.

The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time, Hubbard said.
