Jim and Marilyn Wilson of Kurtz will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Feb. 23 in the fellowship hall at Kurtz Church of the Nazarene, 5858 N. Cleveland St. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Jim and Marilyn were married Feb. 22, 1969, at Kurtz Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Dale Sidle and the Rev. Claude Chastain officiated.

They are the parents of two children, Shawn (Jenny) Wilson of Bloomington and Misty Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia; and a granddaughter, Hayley Jo Wilson.

Jim worked for 43 years as a machine repairman at Cummins Engine Co. in Columbus before retiring in 2016.

Marilyn worked for 23 years as a school bus driver for Brownstown Central Community School Corp. before retiring in 2008.

Both are members of Kurtz Church of the Nazarene.
