Mrs. Traci Lynn Allman, 54, of Seymour passed away after a six-year battle with breast cancer on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Schneck Medical Center.

She was surrounded by those closest to her.

She was born in Seymour, Indiana on September 26, 1964, the daughter of Sharon (Gladden) Vice Wilson and Paul W. Vice.

She was a graduate of Seymour High School, class of 1982, and was the office administrator for Help at Home for several years.

On May 27, 1995 she married Tom Allman at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.

She enjoyed caring for others through her employment as a home care aid, her volunteer work through CASA, her monthly donations to charities, and devotion to her family. She was passionate about rescuing animals and loved to cook. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

She is survived by her husband; mother; father; 2 daughters, Rickitta Schrink (Enrique Leal), Elysabeth Allman (Derrick Otte); 3 brothers, Paul A. Vice (Debbie), Shannon “Peanut” Barger (Amy), Wayne Vice (Rob Phillips); 3 sisters, Beth Alexander (Dee), Sherrie Acton, and Kathy Mellencamp.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Oran “Porky” Wilson, and stepmother, Juanita Vice.

Family and friends may visit at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Memorial service will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, with Rev. Keith Ross officiating and Mr. Wayne Vice giving the eulogy.

Family ask that memorials be written to “Hope Medora Goes Pink” or the ASPCA, through the Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
