Letter: Letter to the editor Rebecca Meyer

I want to give a shout out to the town of Seymour for the kindness I received on Saturday, Nov. 24, when my car broke down on I-65 traveling between Nashville and the western suburbs of Chicago.

I first called Hampton Towing & Recovery who arrived very quickly and determined the problem with my car. While being towed to the Poynter dealership, I was trying to get a rental car from Enterprise, but they were already closed. Slinky "knew a guy" and called Tom at T&T Auto Rental.

Even though T&T was closed, Tom had a car I could rent and picked me up at the dealer with the rental car. At Poynter, the service area was already closed but the service manager was still there and took all my information for my car to be serviced on Monday.

I returned on Tuesday to pick up my car and appreciate the time spent to fix it correctly, even an issue I had been having for quite a while. Everyone I had contact with in Seymour made this undesirable incident a pleasant experience. You were all a blessing and I thank you so much!
