Accomplishments this past week: Ramsey broke a 28-year-old six-dive school record with a score of 348.

How were you able to perform to your potential this past week?

"Reviewing my dives on camera spotting out what I did wrong, and fixed those errors the best I could."

What did you do well?

"My front 1 1/2 with 2 twists"

Do you do anything special to prepare?

"I listen to my music before the meet with my teammate Jackson Carpenter"

Favorite class: Owl Manufacturing

Athletic goals (current and future): break own school records, win state, dive in college

Sydney Jaynes, Trinity Lutheran High School, basketball, sophomore

Accomplishments this past week: The Cougars had wins over Edinburgh and Providence, extending their winning streak to four games. Jaynes averaged 17 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.5 blocks and 3.5 assists.

How were you able to perform to your potential this past week?

"Coach (Mike) Lang makes sure we have a full scouting report every game, and we try to create game situations in practice."

What did you do well?

"I’m very excited about the number of  assists I’ve been getting lately because it shows that big girls can be passers too."

Do you do anything special to prepare?

Favorite drink: chocolate milk

Favorite food: lasagna

Favorite music artist: Beyonce

Favorite book: The Lunar Chronicles

Favorite class: History

Role model?

"My mom because she is always there for me and helps me through the tough times."

Best advice?

"Teams will find a way to beat one or two players, but beating a whole team is harder. It doesn’t matter who scores as long as we are on top in the end."

Athletic goals (current and future): make it to state at least once in career at Trinity, play in college.
