The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church in Seymour met Nov. 27.

President Paula Stafford called the meeting to order and thanked Group 2 for being hostesses.

The tables were decorated on the Thanksgiving theme and featuring a variety of cakes and snacks for refreshments.

Stafford led devotions on "Through My Window" and closed with prayer.

The minutes, read by Judy McDonald, were approved with one correction.

There was no treasurer’s report due to the absence of Betty Guinn.

Bonnie Koontz reported sales of $136 on Nov. 25. There will be another one Dec. 16. Several items have been given to the group to sell. A lot of used cookbooks will be donated soon.

Neil Gardner thanked Stafford and the group for baking cookies for the veterans program.

Money was collected for the Christmas dinner at 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at the church. Entertainment will be decided by Janice Brock. There will be no December meeting.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
