The three were arrested around 11 a.m. Tuesday at a residence at 107 N. East St. in Crothersville after the Indiana State Police All Crimes Police Team was tipped by a citizen’s complaint of possible drug activity at that residence, said Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, public information officer for the Versailles Post.

The home is across the road east of Bard Street Park near Crothersville Community Schools.

Officers obtained a search warrant of the residence signed by Jackson Circuit Court Judge Richard W. Poynter.

Upon serving the warrant, troopers located approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to the news release. Other items associated with drug dealing and use were located at the scene.

The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department and Crothersville Police Department.

A Level 2 felony carries a sentence between 10 and 30 years if convicted.

The three were booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown on Tuesday afternoon and were being held without bond pending their initial hearings.
