Seymour-Redding Elementary School fifth-graders recently celebrated Constitution Day with a variety of fun activities.
Led by teacher Sandy Mellencamp, the students spent two weeks learning about the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Then Thursday, they participated in Constitution-themed games outside the school while wearing their most patriotic attire.
Constitution Day is today. The document was signed Sept. 17, 1787, by 39 of the country’s forefathers.
