Family and friends of the late Orrill and Dora Gibson met July 8 at Ceraland Park in Columbus for their 69th annual reunion. There were 56 family and friends present.

Greg Gibson called the reunion to order and read the 2017 minutes. Renee Gallion gave the invocation for the noon meal.

The family honored Emil Gibson, who turned 100 years old Feb. 13, and Norman Gibson, who was 93 years old June 27.

Lucky number winners were Braylon Monks, Mike Walker, Jenny Gibson, Brittney Hilderbrand and Gary Ping. There were several more gifts given away during the afternoon.

Marriages recorded were Sam Gallion and Stephani Caliendo and Elisa Gallion and Shane Hickman. Births recorded were Jesse Quinn Clark and Emily Grace Combs. A death recorded was Lowell Rex Gibson.

Those attending the reunion included Emil Gibson and Greg Gibson of Indianapolis; Sharon and Fred Cunningham of Logansport; Larry Gibson and Sam Schwartz of Decatur; and Rhonda and Sid Bowman of Kokomo.

Also attending were Beth and Joe Johnson, Cortney, Cori and Lillian Bowers and Shane and Renee Gallion, all of Medora, and Wilma Lee, Gary and Charmella Ping with Kylaina and Branson, Amanda, Wyatt and Whitley Ping, Christy with Brittney, Megan and Emma Hilderbrand, Kinsey, Harper and Quinn Clark, Collin, Benjamin, Keagan and Caesar Meranda, Braylon Monks, Scarlett, Coraline and Mike Walker, Kyla Ortkeed, Kelsey and Ian Hubbard and Sheila and Murico Ledesma, all of Columbus.

Attending from Bloomington were Sandra and Brooke Percifield, Olivia, Elliott, Renata and Foster Zelaya and Jenny Gibson; and Norman Gibson, Bonnie and Bill Combs, Joella and Joseph Gallion, Beth Gallion and Greg Lee, all of Brownstown.

The next Gibson family reunion will be July 14, 2019, at Ceraland.
