An annual prayer event, See You at the Pole, will be Sept. 26 at local schools in the Brownstown area.

Organizers want parents and the community to get involved with the students, who will gather at 7 a.m. around the flagpoles of local schools to pray for each other, teachers and faculty and the country, according to a news release from Shauni Brown with Brownstown Church of the Nazarene.

The sanctuary of the church, 616 W. Commerce St., will be open for anyone who would like to come and pray from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day.
