The 23rd annual Houston Fall Festival will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 13 at Houston School.

Activities include a bake sale, a quilt raffle, wagon rides, a greased pig contest and games for kids.

Bluegrass and gospel music will be performed by various groups throughout the day. Food will be available for purchase with the menu featuring soups, sandwiches, desserts and drinks.

Donations of homemade baked goods are needed for the bake sale.
