Braves earn MSC win

SALEM — Brownstown Central topped Salem 4-1 in a Mid-Southern Conference match on Friday.

The No. 1 doubles team of Gunnar Zickler and Jackson Lahrman defeated Gavin Fleming and Aiden Minton 6-2, 6-3 and Max McClure and Reece Carlin bested Shawn Hubbard and Drew Stout 6-4, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles for the Braves.

Adam Pottschmidt defeated Evan Shelby 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Ethan Wischmeier beat Mason Dillon 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

Brownstown improved to 8-2 (4-2 MSC) with the win.
