Braves compete in Brown County

NASHVILLE — Just six strokes were the difference between first and third in a tri-match at Salt Creek Golf Retreat on Tuesday.

Brown County were the winners by combining for 213 strokes, Edgewood totaled 214 and Brownstown Central scored 219 on the evening.

Edgewood’s Kailea Covey and Brown County’s Ashley Mastellar tied for medalist honors, as both golfers carded 13-over-par 49s.

Lexi Satterthwaite shot 52, Ashlyn Fox totaled 53 and KaCee Collins had 54 for Brownstown. Ashley Schroer rounded out the Braves’ card with a 60.
