Edna Marie (Hall) McCammon, 99, of Seymour, passed away at Lutheran Community Home on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

Born December 14, 1918, in Washington County, IN, she was the daughter of Orpha and Vanda Fleenor Hall.

Edna attended school in Crothersville, IN. On April 3, 1937 in Uniontown, IN she married Earl Reynold McCammon and he passed away on June 2, 2014. They were married for 77 years.

Edna was a longtime active member of First Marion Baptist Church in Commiskey, IN. She worked at Seymour Shirt Factory, Seymour Shoe Factory, Dicksons, and Lutheran Community Home. She was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed traveling, history, reading westerns and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Rita (Joseph) Deppen; grandchildren, Jill (Scott) Deppen Christopher, Julia (Bryan) Deppen Bowman, Sonya McCammon Foster, Michael McCammon, Richard McCammon and David McCammon. She has several great-grandchildren with five living in the local area: Adelyn, Gavin, and Alaina Bowman; Ella and Evan Christopher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Earl Richard McCammon; brothers, Erlis Hall, Raymond Hall, Erman Hall and Harry Hall; and sister, Lottie Hall Foster.

A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, July 15 at 2 PM at First Marion Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hood officiating.

Visitation will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday from 5-8 PM and at the church on Sunday from 1 PM until time of service.

Burial will follow at First Marion Baptist Church Cemetery.
