Miss Madison wins Regatta

MADISON

Jimmy Shane put on a show for the hometown crowd and was never challenged in the final race to bring home the HomeStreet/Miss Madison U-1 Unlimited Hydroplane in the 68th annual Midwest Tube Mills Madison Regatta.

The boat is owned by the city of Madison.

Shane pulled away from pole sitter Andrew Tate in the Delta/Real Trac U-9, Tom Thompson’s Reliable Diamond Tool U-11 and Dustin Echols Bucket List Racing U-440 to give Louisville native Cindy Shirley her first win as crew chief.
