IU Southeast announces spring honors lists

Indiana University Southeast in New Albany recently announced the dean’s and chancellor’s lists.

For the spring 2018 semester, 276 students made the chancellor’s list, while 793 students were named to the dean’s list.

Local students who made the chancellor’s list were McKenna Frances Ann Curry and Madison Persinger, both of Brownstown, and Kent David Criminger of Vallonia.

Local students who made the dean’s list were Stevi Nicole Begley of Freetown; Lucinda Ann Brewster, Kathryn E. Wathen, Molly M. Simmons and Nickolas David Nixon, all of North Vernon; Olivia Hackman, Taylor Elizabeth Sutton, Austin Garrett Kute, Cassidy Sawyer, Jared Ryan Stuckwisch, Anthony Arlynn Hester, Jacob W. Christopher, Emma Marie Patmore and Brennyn Skylar Pollert, all of Seymour; and Wesley S. Bowers of Vallonia.

To qualify for the dean’s list, students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Those named to the chancellor’s list received highest academic honors in the spring semester.
