The Seymour Department of Public Works and Seymour Parks and Recreation Department will be working together to paint shared bike paths on city streets beginning Monday, weather permitting.

Some of these paths are new this year. Fliers will be placed on homes and streets asking residents to move vehicles from the roadway on days when painting is planned.

The north route will include Third Street from Blish Street to Kessler Boulevard, Kessler Boulevard to Fifth Street and return on Fifth Street from Kessler Boulevard to Blish Street.

The south route will include Kasting Road from Laurel Street to Wendemere Drive, Wendemere Drive to Poplar Street and return on Poplar Street from Wendemere Drive to Laurel Street.
