The right southbound lane has reopened at the 53 mile-marker on Interstate 65 following a vehicle fire, Indiana State Police report.

The lane was closed for a half hour as crews cleaned up a single vehicle fire Thursday evening. A mechanical issue led to the car catching fire, police said.

No injuries were reported in the incident, Sgt. Stephen Wheeles said.
