Schneck Foundation will present a seminar about information for those with overactive bladders and other voiding disorders March 1 in the Schneck Auditorium at the hospital, 411 W. Tipton St., Seymour.
Charity Welch, a certified family nurse practitioner with First Urology of Schneck Medical Center, will be the guest speaker for this free program, entitled “When Your Plumbing Leaks: Solutions for Overactive Bladders.”
The seminar is for people who spend an inordinate amount of time in the bathroom and constantly live in fear of being too far away from a restroom.
It will help educate attendees about the symptoms and treatments for overactive bladder and other voiding disorders and help people make informed decisions. It also will be a starting point for discussing and creating a health and wellness plan with your physician.
Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 6 p.m.
