Robert Douglas Compton, 61, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2017.

The son of Robert L. Compton and Shirley L. Ferry Compton, he was born Dec. 25, 1955, in Seymour.

Survivors include his wife, Staci L. Peterson Compton; children, Brandon, Breinne, Clayton and Brittney Compton, all of Indianapolis, and Taylor Robb of Harrison, Arkansas; sisters, Michelle Botkin of Seymour and Peggy Vaden of Charlotte, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and five grandchildren.

The funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday in Harrison, Arkansas.
