On the road Tuesday night, Trinity Lutheran was unable to overcome a physical battle against Hauser and fell 101-66.

The Jets came out firing on all cylinders to start the game, racing out to a 27-14 lead after the first quarter.

The Cougars (1-2) were overpowered down low, allowing the Hauser (2-1) to score in the paint with ease. Trinity fell behind 53-25 at the half.

While scoring as a team came tough for the Cougars, senior Jacob Rowe had a blazing-hot night from beyond the 3-point arc, sinking seven 3s en route to a team-high 24 points. Tyler Goecker chipped in 10 points.

The second half was much the same for Trinity, which was unable to match the size and athleticism of the Jets. However, the Cougars fought strong defensively and held Hauser to its lowest scoring quarter of the night in the fourth, containing the Jets to 18 points.
