CareSource and Schneck Medical Center have reached an agreement to provide access to health care for local consumers.

Beginning in January 2018, Schneck will accept CareSource Marketplace members seeking health care services.

“Offering the CareSource Marketplace plan ensures that residents in the communities we serve have more local options for hospital and physician services,” said Debbie Mann, chief financial officer and vice president of finance at Schneck.

“As a CareSource Marketplace network provider, we are strengthening our commitment to the region’s health needs and supporting healthy living across the area,” she said in a news release.

This alliance provides CareSource members’ greater access to a wide variety of health care services, said Steve Smitherman, vice president and executive director of CareSource Indiana.
