Owls fall to Silver Creek
SELLERSBURG
The Seymour girls soccer team couldn’t hold on to a 1-0 halftime lead, as they fell to Silver Creek 3-2 on Tuesday.
Marie Lenart scored the opening goal for the Owls off an assist by Katie O’Mara.
In the second half, Andrea Ferrer got the Owls’ second goal off a pass from Lenart.
The final shot tallies read SHS 11 and SC 15.
In goal, Rachell Collett collected 11 saves for the Owls.
SHS (0-2) will host Scottsburg tonight for their home opener.
