Alvin Neal Scifres, 81, of Columbus died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Columbus Regional Health.

Survivors include his wife, Janice M. Gibson Scifres; two daughters, Dana Burton and Shelly (Scott) Smith, both of Columbus; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marvin “Dink” (Kay) Scifres of Crothersville.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Crothersville with Pastor Ron Bridgewater officiating. Burial will be at Crothersville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday.

Memorials may be made to East Columbus Christian Church.
