NORTH VERNON

Billy Clayton Cornett, 62, of North Vernon died Sunday, May 22, 2016, at his residence.

Survivors include his stepchildren, Gerald Lloyd of Vernon, Sean Cockerham of North Vernon, Joyce (Tommy) Lee of North Vernon and Linda (Ben) Williams of South Carolina; brothers, Clifton Kenis (Jamie) Cornett of North Vernon and Donald Cornett of Elizabethtown; sister, Brenda (Gary) Powers of Columbus; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Angie Cockerham.

The funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service Friday.

Memorials may be made for expenses.
